dfwHR in Dallas, TX seeks a Junior Associate Attorney to develop expertise in consumer bankruptcy law. You will engage directly with clients and help manage matters through the bankruptcy process, in a fast-moving environment.

Ideal candidates possess a JD from an accredited law school, an active Texas license, and excellent verbal/written communication. Bankruptcy exposure is a plus, but the focus is on aptitude, organization, and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school is required.
Active Texas law license is required.
Bankruptcy experience is a plus but not required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Comfortable working directly with clients and handling challenging conversations.
Excellent organization and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and shift between multiple responsibilities.

Responsabilités

Develop knowledge of consumer bankruptcy matters and procedures.
Assist with and ultimately manage bankruptcy cases as experience develops.
Participate in client meetings and consultations.
Prepare for and attend hearings and other proceedings.
Communicate case requirements, next steps, and expectations to clients.
Work closely with experienced attorneys and support staff.
Manage multiple matters and deadlines in a high-volume environment.
Develop the ability to independently manage a caseload.
Maintain accurate documentation and consistent client follow-up.
Provide professional and compassionate service to consumers navigating financial challenges.
