dfwHR is seeking an Associate Attorney in Dallas, Texas for a fast-paced consumer bankruptcy practice. The attorney will manage cases from signing through completion and handle hearings, client meetings, and ongoing client guidance.

This role emphasizes direct client interaction, efficient case management, and a willingness to move between hearings and meetings within a flat-fee model with no billable-hour requirement.

Qualifications

• Active Texas law license required.
• Bankruptcy experience required.
• Experience independently managing a high-volume caseload.
• Strong client-facing and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working with individual/consumer clients.

Responsabilités

• Manage a high-volume bankruptcy caseload from signing through completion.
• Prepare for and attend bankruptcy hearings and related proceedings.
• Conduct frequent client meetings, sometimes back-to-back.
• Advise clients throughout the bankruptcy process and communicate next steps clearly.
• Manage expectations and handle challenging client conversations professionally.
• Move efficiently between hearings, client meetings, case work and priorities.
• Maintain accurate case management and follow-through.
• Collaborate with intake and support staff as matters transition to the attorney.
• Ensure cases progress in a timely and organized manner.
