CDM Smith is seeking a Construction Specialist to join our team in Pojoaque, NM. The role offers a path for new graduates into the construction industry, with a mix of technical, field and site administration duties.

You will assist during pursuit, develop preliminary schedules and general conditions, and collaborate with the project team, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and safe project completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 0 years. Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing documents and preparing deliverables during pursuit phase.
• Develop preliminary schedules and General Conditions.
• Coordinate with project team, subcontractors, client, owners and vendors to ensure timely completion.
• Review submittals and RFIs; issue construction documents and layouts for field crews.
• Supervise basic to moderate project activities and interpret drawings for foremen and superintendents.
• Support project close-out with final records, inspections, punch lists and client satisfaction.
