Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform industry standard field engineering duties as described in the job description.
• Assist in reviewing documents, preparing deliverables, and participating in pre-bid site visits.
• Determine total project costs by evaluating complex proposals and researching labor, material, and equipment costs.
• Develop a preliminary schedule for engineering and construction.
• Develop General Conditions based on requirements in bidding documents (staff, facilities, security, safety).
• Work with project team, subcontractors, client, owners and others to ensure timely, safe completion.
• Ensure timely arrival and installation of materials and equipment with field personnel and vendors.
• Prepare and review submittals, issue construction documents and layouts, respond to RFIs.
• Supervise and direct project activities for basic to moderate complexity; interpret specs/drawings for crews.
