Job summary

YA is seeking motivated individuals to join our team in construction scheduling. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and finalizing detailed project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 and ASTA Powerproject, with on-the-job training and supportive coaching.

Recent graduates can build valuable project management experience while collaborating with clients and teammates to deliver schedules, monitor progress, and identify potential risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business administration or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in, or knowledge of, the construction industry is a plus.
• Strong willingness to learn and a curious, teachable mindset; this role involves significant on-the-job training.
• Proficiency in Windows operating systems, including effective use of hotkeys and organized electronic file management.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and overcome challenges while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong sense of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding company values and exceeding client expectations.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with a team and share responsibilities towards achieving a common goal.
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to understand both specific details and broader project objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and finalize detailed construction project schedules utilizing Oracle Primavera P6 and ASTA Powerproject software.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with clients to ensure alignment on project scheduling and deliverables.
• Create schedules based on construction plans, project specifications, and client-provided information.
• Monitor project progress, update schedules accordingly, and proactively identify and communicate any potential schedule risks.
• Conduct delay analysis of project schedules, documentation, and costs.
• Review and synthesize relevant information to prepare comprehensive impact reports for project stakeholders.
• Maintain job files, documentation, and other relevant deliverables.
• Additional duties as assigned.
