Job summary

Brinkmann Constructors in Missouri offers a Project Engineer Intern role to support the Project Engineer, Project Manager and Superintendent in day-to-day construction management. You will help keep projects on track and coordinate with the team on site.

As part of the Brinkmann BUILD program you will participate in events, trainings and site visits, perform assigned tasks with guidance, and work closely with subcontractors and clients to learn the craft and advance your career.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil, architectural, or construction engineering or construction management.
• General knowledge of construction principles and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret contract docs, drawings, specs, scopes, and schedules.
• Ability to propose alternative solutions to complex challenges.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Passion for construction, self-motivated, strong work ethic, organized, detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Engineer, Project Manager, and Superintendent in daily construction project management.
• Collaborate with project team to support assigned construction project.
• Complete assigned day-to-day work independently, seeking guidance when necessary.
• Execute and enforce safety standards, processes, and procedures.
• Maintain professional relationships with project team, subcontractors, and clients.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Participate in Brinkmann BUILD program events, trainings, site visits and mock bid.
