Job summary

Brinkmann Constructors in Missouri seeks a Project Engineer Intern to support the project team on construction projects and assist with day-to-day management. This program provides hands-on experience and growth opportunities.

You will collaborate with the Project Engineer, Project Manager, and Superintendent, while learning safety standards, contract documents, drawings, and schedules in a real site environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil, architectural, or construction engineering/management.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project team to support the assigned construction project.
• Complete day-to-day work independently, seeking guidance when necessary.
• Execute and enforce safety standards, processes and procedures.
• Maintain professional relationships with project team, subcontractors, and clients.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Participate in Brinkmann BUILD program events, trainings, site visits and mock bid.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
