Job summary

Braun Intertec is seeking an Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician in Amarillo, TX. You will learn to test soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt on diverse projects, with comprehensive training and certifications provided after demonstrating ability.

The role requires outdoor work, occasional long hours, and lifting 50-75+ pounds. Experience in materials testing is a plus, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational degree preferred.
• Ability to learn field testing procedures and industry certifications.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail; good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field density tests of soils.
• Perform field concrete testing, including slump, air content, and strength.
• Prepare daily reports and coordinate with project teams.
• Assist with sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.
