DIHO Consulting USA is seeking applicants for an Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician in Geismar, TX. Training will be provided, and you can get certified.

This role involves field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring to ensure project specifications are met. Responsibilities include concrete testing, soil compaction, Proctor/Atterberg tests, asphalt density, pile monitoring, and producing reports.

Qualifications

• Over 1 year of experience in Construction or Construction Materials Testing.
• Must have dependable transportation, a truck is preferable as there is an incentive program to use it for work
• Must be able to pass a DISA drug screen
• Must be able to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests such as concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, cylinders).
• Soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear density gauge.
• Proctor, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis and other soil classification tests.
• Asphalt density testing and pavement core sampling.
• Pile monitoring during installation to document capacity, penetration, and blow counts
• Produce timely and detailed reports
• Operate vehicle in a safe manner and follow safety procedures
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
• Build positive relationships with clients
• Arrive at the job site on time and communicate with dispatch daily
• Communicate with onsite clients and relay information to management
