Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA in Cedar Creek, TX seeks an Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician to perform field tests on soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring. Training will be provided and certification opportunities exist.

Responsibilities include testing concrete, soil compaction, asphalt density, and producing detailed reports. You must be able to travel to job sites, maintain safety protocols, and collaborate with the technical team.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Construction or Construction Materials Testing.
• Must have dependable transportation; a truck is preferable for incentive use.
• Able to pass a DISA drug screen and a background check.
• TWIC card preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and equipment.
• Willing to work an on-call schedule and irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests such as concrete testing (slump, air content, temp, unit weight, cylinders).
• Conduct soil compaction tests using sand cone or nuclear density gauge.
• Carry out Proctor, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis and related soil tests.
• Perform asphalt density testing and pavement core sampling.
• Monitor piles during installation to document capacity and blow counts.
• Produce timely and detailed reports.
• Operate vehicle safely and follow company safety procedures at all times.
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.
• Build positive relationships with clients and communicate with dispatch daily.
