Job summary

LiRo-Hill seeks an Entry Level Construction Engineer for Nassau County, NY, to support major NCDPW projects. You will assist with construction inspection, document progress, and coordinate with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Knowledge of concrete and asphalt pavement materials and construction methods preferred.
• MS Office proficiency, especially Word and Excel.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with clients, designers, contractors and field staff.
• Able to work nights and travel as needed.
• US work authorization and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Construction inspection of major roadway rehabilitation projects.
• Monitor and track project schedule and budget.
• Interface with clients/agencies and contractors.
• Track work progress through daily field reports and photographs.
