Job summary

BRG is seeking a full-time conflicts analyst to support the legal team from our Chicago, DC, or New York offices. The role requires in-office presence three days per week with a hybrid schedule and offers overtime eligibility.

You will perform conflict searches, validate information, and maintain client/matter data in Intapp, supporting senior counsel and the conflicts manager with accuracy and discretion. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years in risk, research, or conflict

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in risk management, research, reference library work, conflict searching, or related experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Intapp, Elite, Hoover's/D&B, research software and iManage.
• Strict attention to detail and excellent analytical and organizational skills are a must.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ideal candidate interacts well with people at all levels with professionalism.
• Strong understanding of conflicts-of-interest and business intake procedures in a law firm or professional services environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research corporate affiliations of clients and parties using Capital IQ, Hoover's/D&B, and the internet.
• Perform routine conflicts of interest searches in Intapp and validate party information.
• Verify conflicts reports for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to standards.
• Assist the legal team and conflicts manager as needed.
• Maintain data in Intapp, including changes to client/matter names and adding parties.
• Uphold accuracy, quality, and thoroughness across requests.
• Be available for urgent confidential matters, including evenings and weekends.
• Contribute to process, procedure, and technology improvements for efficiency.
• Develop proficiency with the conflicts database and related tooling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
