Qualifications

• Two years as a Regulatory Enforcement Inspector or equivalent Federal job title.
• Five years of investigative experience.
• One year investigative experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training including one year investigative experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Investigations: Examine allegations involving violations of laws, rules, and regulations.
• Perform Inspections: Inspect sites to determine compliance and document findings through clear reports.
• Gather Evidence: Collect information through interviews, observations, and detailed fact gathering.
• Apply Regulations: Interpret and apply laws and standards to each investigation.
• Prepare Reports: Write complete and accurate reports that explain investigative findings.
• Support Hearings: Appear as a witness during hearings and provide testimony on case findings.
