Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in COMSEC.
• Familiar with acquisition, maintenance, operations and disposition of COMSEC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of COMSEC policies across multiple sites.
• Assist COMSEC Managers with personnel and operations, ensuring adherence to security standards.
• Lead audits, assessments and process evaluations to maintain operational integrity.
• Ensure all personnel receiving COMSEC material are enrolled in the CAP program as required.
• Establish training programs for COMSEC Responsible Officers (CROs) and SVROs.
• Maintain COMSEC account files and prepare accounting records for issued material.
• Receive/send packages via Defense Courier Service (DCS) and reconcile with transfer reports.
• Provide guidance on shipping COMSEC accountable equipment.
• Assist with crypto-systems management revalidations and surveys.
• Lead risk management efforts related to COMSEC material security.
