Job summary

By Light Professional IT Services, in support of EWOCS, seeks a COMSEC specialist to assist across Patrick Space Force Base and Vandenberg AFB. You will support COMSEC account management, training, audits, and CAP enrollment for personnel.

The role requires 1–3 years of COMSEC exposure, familiarity with related regulations, and in possession of CompTIA Security+ and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance. A competitive salary and benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in COMSEC or related field.
• Familiarity with COMSEC requirements and procedures.
• CompTIA Security+ certification and active DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of COMSEC policies across sites.
• Support COMSEC Managers with personnel, training, and operations.
• Lead audits, assessments, and process evaluations to maintain integrity.
• Enroll personnel in the Cryptographic Access Program (CAP).
• Coordinate CRO/SVRO training and SOP documentation.
• Assist in obtaining COMSEC equipment and maintain account records.
• Support emergency action planning and defense courier workflows.
• Perform risk management related to COMSEC material security.
