Job summary

University Partners is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in daily property operations, leasing performance, and resident services. You will supervise staff, approve leases, manage marketing efforts, and help ensure financial coordination and compliance.

You will play a key role in fostering a welcoming student community, assisting with move-ins/outs, coordinating events, and maintaining clear communication with residents and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager in supervising and training the leasing team to ensure standards and Fair Housing compliance.
• Review and approve lease applications and verify file accuracy.
• Ensure data integrity in Entrata for traffic, leases, renewals, and work orders.
• Meet regularly with Community Manager and Market Director to discuss leasing issues.
• Monitor daily lease approvals and renewal updates.
• Maintain Marketing Calendar including campus outreach, promotions, and advertising.
• Conduct monthly market surveys and suggest pricing adjustments.
• Track leasing activity, availability, and roommate matching efforts.
• Suggest marketing plans to achieve leasing goals.
• Perform administrative duties and assist with move-in/move-out coordination.
• Support community events and promotional initiatives.
• Approve invoices and submit expenses on time.
• Oversee social media and community communications prior to publication.
• Provide exceptional service to residents, prospects, and vendors.
• Step into the Community Manager role when necessary.
