Job summary
IT8 is seeking a Commissioning Technician to support testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of automated industrial systems across multiple sites in the United States. You’ll work with PLC-controlled equipment, electrical components, and industrial automation, collaborating with commissioning engineers and programmers to ensure smooth startup and operation.

Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC systems and industrial automation.
- Technical education in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Electromechanical or Mechatronics preferred.
- English communication skills required.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project locations.
Responsibilities
- Verify I/O, sensors, actuators, valves, motors and VFDs during commissioning.
- Test wiring, control signals, grounding and communications.
- Assist in diagnosing faults and loading PLC programs.
- Support parameter adjustment, timing and scaling of equipment.
- Conduct functional testing to meet production requirements.
- Verify safety interlocks and train with PLC programmers.
