Job summary

The Baldwin Group in Bethesda, MD seeks an Associate Advisor to grow a personal book of business through prospecting, closing new accounts and client retention. You will complete an in-depth training program, learn the firm’s insurance and risk management value proposition, and be mentored by experienced Advisors to support clients nationwide.

Starting pay is $80,000+ annually and is negotiable at hire. A Property & Casualty license is required within states of operation, with licenses

Qualifications

• Obtain and maintain a Property & Casualty license as required.
• Willing to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to prospect, solicit, and close new accounts.

Responsibilities

• Grow own book of business through prospecting, closing, and retention.
• Identify and generate new sales opportunities through analysis and discovery.
• Participate in sales meetings to review activities with leadership.
• Develop knowledge of insurance line products and procedures.
• Present proposals professionally and explain coverages in detail.
