Job summary

Bell Ford Collision Center in Phoenix seeks a motivated Junior Collision Estimator / Body Shop Helper to join our team. This role blends estimating and parts coordination to build solid repair plans and smooth the customer experience.

You will work with technicians and senior estimators to assess damage, prepare estimates, track parts, and support shop operations from intake to delivery. Ideal candidates are eager to learn, mechanically inclined, and committed to quality service.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Entry-level opportunity; automotive knowledge preferred.
Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Familiarity with CCC ONE or Reynolds & Reynolds is a plus.

Responsibilities

Write complete estimates and supplements following guidelines; emphasize repair over replacement.
Take clear photos of vehicle damage.
Document and track progress through repair.
Update production schedules and repair statuses.
Assign labor to technicians and painters.
Educate customers on the collision repair process and timelines.
Conduct daily status meetings with front office staff.
Verify insurance supplements are scanned and attached.
Pre-close files before delivery and prepare for final billing.
