Edwards Vacuum in Buffalo, NY is seeking a CNC Machinist I to learn to operate CNC equipment while developing foundational machining skills. You will support production by following defined procedures and working closely with more experienced machinists and engineers.

The role requires 0–3 years of machining experience or technical education in CNC machining, the ability to read basic blueprints, and a willingness to work in a team environment and receive feedback.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of machining experience or technical education/certification in CNC machining.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and work instructions.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and receive feedback.

Responsabilités

• Operate HMC, mill-turn, grinder, or balancer machines under supervision; seek assistance when encountering operational issues.
• Follow standard safety protocols and quality procedures.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area in alignment with 6S principles.
• Collaborate with Cell Support Engineers and Team Leaders to identify and resolve basic issues.
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development programs.
