Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Sector seeks a Junior Configuration Management Analyst to manage product design changes and lifecycle data within a PLM environment. You will review release documents, maintain data integrity, and generate CSA/audit reports in collaboration with CM, engineering, and manufacturing teams.

The role emphasizes on-site work with a preference for candidates in the Huntsville, AL area, and may require eventual DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4 year degree in a relevant applicable field and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience; additional education, experience or training will be considered in lieu of degree.
• Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
• Candidate must have working knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools such as Agile PLM, Oracle Agile, PTC Windchill, Dassault ENOVIA, Siemens Teamcenter, Aras, etc.
• Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Visio is a plus) and Adobe PDF editing software.
• Candidate must be capable of working in a collaborative engineering environment with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance in the future (U.S. Citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Review design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations for data created from internal projects or supplied by the customer.
• Work independently on moderately complex projects and provide CM data management in PLM systems.
• Support CM team with CSA/audit reports, data pulls, and change records throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with CM, engineering, manufacturing, quality and other teams on lifecycle support.
