Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and seven years of Systems Engineer experience, or twelve years of Systems Engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with Full Scope (FS) Polygraph is required.
• Experience with cloud technologies and testing methodologies, plus familiarity with Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Lead System Engineer and cross-functional development teams to implement cloud-based systems with emphasis on functional testing and UAT.
• Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle ensuring alignment with business needs, regulatory compliance, and technical standards.
• Develop comprehensive test plans for installation, integration, and acceptance in cloud infrastructures (e.g., AWS).
• Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives) to provide systems engineering insights and support iterative improvements.
• Communicate a shared technical and architectural vision for solutions developed by product teams, bridging gaps between engineering, development, and stakeholders.
• Assist in troubleshooting cloud system issues, optimizing configurations, and ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, Section 508).
