Job summary

Apptium, a TD SYNNEX Company, in Reston, VA, seeks a Cloud Product Support Engineer to deliver high-quality software support and resolve complex issues. You will manage escalations, perform root-cause analyses, and coordinate with R&D to improve product readiness.

Requirements include Java/GoLang, SQL, cloud infra knowledge (AWS/GCP/Azure), Linux, and experience with JIRA/Confluence. A Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in fields such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong coding experience, preferably in Java or GoLang, knowledge of SQL and relational databases, experience with diverse operating systems, Linux preferred.
• Knowledge on cloud infrastructure – AWS or GCP or Azure.
• Experience in JIRA or equivalent ticket management system, Confluence or equivalent document management system, Logs and server monitoring.
• Aptitude for complex technical problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for assigned complex system level software products.
• Effectively manage customer escalations to ensure high satisfaction.
• Independently define and drive analysis of difficult technical problems.
• Root cause analysis using product logs, source code, and DB reports.
• Validate product bug fixes to ensure stable functionality.
• Maintain documented troubleshooting plans and provide regular status updates.
• Develop and maintain specialized test environments for reproduction and verification.
• Collaborate with R&D and other stakeholders during problem resolution.
• Define and report on product supportability during life cycle.
• Assist in scheduling resources and lead training for new products/releases.
