The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is a premier statewide law enforcement agency dedicated to serving and protecting the citizens of South Carolina. Our expungement unit handles the sealing and updating of arrest records, ensuring accuracy across the CCH repository, III, and AFIS.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate good judgement and discretion when handling arrest, judicial, and custody information.
• Ability to perform clerical duties and understand coding techniques.
• Responding professionally to telephone calls from the public and other agencies.

Responsabilités

• Review, research, and process criminal history modifications, expungements, and pardons.
• Enter Disposition reports from various courts to complete the judicial entry on the CCH repository.
• Seal arrest information in the state criminal history repository and related systems per expungement orders.
• Coordinate with outside agencies to make corrections and modifications to the criminal history repository.
• Maintain proper research and coding procedures with supporting documentation.
