Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Civil/Site E.I.T. to join our Allentown, PA team. You will work on land development projects, performing calculations, creating drawings, and applying regulations under senior supervision.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers, field inspections, and site design from concept to completion using Civil 3D. A Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and EIT consideration are preferred, with opportunities for growth in a supportive, professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Knowledge of PA land use processes and regulations.
• Proficiency in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, grading and site development designs.
• Civil 3D skills to design site layouts from concept through completion.
• Ability to interact with coworkers, clients and regulatory agencies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and judgment capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• English literacy for job-related communications.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and create estimates.
• Develop drawings by modifying or replicating prior projects and applying changes from redlines.
• Ensure designs meet company and client standards.
• Perform QA/QC by verifying methodology and calculations.
• Interpret drawings from multiple disciplines and respond to RFIs.
• Conduct field inspections, surveys, measurements and documentation.
• Research and apply code provisions to design.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on project designs.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D daily.
• Document design options and findings for the project manager.
• Evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques with sound judgment.
• Assist project engineers and leaders in design creation.
