Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an entry-level Civil/Environmental Engineer to provide technical planning, design, permitting, and construction support for water utility projects in New York. You will prepare calculations, analyses, design reports, and construction plans using AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D, and Revit.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, 0–3 years of related experience, and strong writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
• 0 to 3 years of related experience required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D and/or Revit preferred.
• Excellent writing, organizational and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work well with others.
• EIT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical planning, design, permitting, and construction support for water utility projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations and analyses of alternatives.
• Develop design reports and construction plans using local/state standards.
• Create construction plans with AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D and Revit.
• Review plans and specifications and assist with permit submittals.
• Assist Project Managers and attend meetings.
• Maintain client relations and ensure safety.
