Job summary

IMEG is hiring a Civil Engineering New Graduate in Fairfax, VA. This entry-level role offers hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience with mentorship and training from day one.

You will support engineering analysis, site design, field inspections, and permit applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams and learning across survey, data center, and education markets. This role emphasizes safe, compliant design and client communication.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering analysis, design, field inspections, report writing, permit applications, site drainage and grading design
• Assist in designing water and sewer systems for smaller private and larger municipal systems
• Assist with grading and stormwater designs for commercial, industrial, and residential site plans
• Interact with clients to gather project requirements and communicate technical information
• Support project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines
• Document design decisions and client instructions while monitoring progress
• Analyze low to medium complexity tasks and propose practical solutions
• Participate in IMEG quality control processes to ensure standards
• Stay up to date with industry trends and contribute to innovation
• Prioritize safety and regulatory compliance in design applications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals
