Job summary

SLR Consulting (US) is seeking a Civil Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team working on municipal and private site development projects. You will design, analyze, and document stormwater systems, prepare calculations, and help develop sustainable solutions while coordinating with project engineers and managers.

You will use AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCad to support designs, visit sites for data collection, and contribute to high-quality technical reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
• 0-3 years of experience in built environment design
• Proficiency in Auto CAD Civil 3D
• Valid driver’s license
• Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work in a team environment
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Ability to work on several projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Perform civil engineering design work for municipal and private built environment projects
• Prepare calculations for storm drainage and stormwater management systems and supporting documentation
• Develop sustainable solutions
• Visit project sites for data collection and monitoring
• Utilize a variety of computer programs including AutoCAD and HydroCad software to undertake designs and computations
• Perform other related duties as assigned
