Apex Engineering Group, Inc. is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join our civil engineering team. You’ll contribute to highway, urban roadway, and municipal projects from planning through design and construction, and may serve as a resident project representative in the field.

The role emphasizes collaboration with senior staff, proposal work, and developing project plans while adhering to company CAD standards and safety policies. Travel will be required during the construction season.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required.
• EI certification or ability to obtain within one year.
• 1–3 years of experience on roadway or municipal projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Detail oriented with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Flexible working style and willingness to adjust schedules.
• Proficient with Windows/Office products.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams on civil engineering projects from planning through construction.
• Communicate updates with supervisors and project managers across all phases.
• Attend company, project, and client meetings regularly.
• Assist in preparing proposals and participate in interviews for new work.
• Act as on-site resident project representative during construction.
• Develop project plans and specifications with Apex team members.
• Follow CAD procedures and safety policies.
• Travel and potential overtime during construction season.
