Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer to produce innovative, cost-effective designs, drawings, and specifications for assigned projects. You’ll grow into an independent resource and coordinate with other disciplines while meeting experience requirements for a professional license exam.

You will gain exposure to project management, construction documents, and client interaction as you advance toward licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from ABET accredited university preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience; ability to sit for FE exam within 6 months of hire.
• Primarily focused on upcoming graduates (Fall 2026 / Spring 2027).

Responsibilities

• Participates in project strategy meetings and develops design concepts.
• Performs analyses or calculations as assigned; supports Licensed Professional.
• Reads and understands design documents and standards.
• Produces organized design documents and coordinating drawings for submission.
• Assists in development of construction plans and estimates under supervision of Licensed Professional.
• Supports on-site visits, field notes, photos, and sketches; maintains field reports.
• Collaborates with interns, designers, and technicians on project tasks.
• Creates work plans, meets project schedules, and communicates status to supervisor.
