Kimley-Horn is seeking a CAD Operator to join the Land Development team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is not a remote position, and the role focuses on generating site plans and construction drawings using basic drafting software.

The ideal candidate has 0–3 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products, with an emphasis on accuracy, detail, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products preferred.
• Detail oriented with good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Generate site plans and construction drawings using basic drafting software for Kimley-Horn projects.
• Design and produce sets of plans; implement drafting standards.
• Assist in maintaining drawing database.
• Perform routine data accuracy checks.
• Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn's practices and standards.
