Job summary

Leidos in Lawton, OK is seeking a Junior CEMA Software Engineer to join our local development team building simulations and mission-critical software for defense domains.

You will work on designing, building, deploying, and maintaining software that supports customer missions, collaborating with engineers in a primarily in-person environment. A background in Python or C++ and Agile/Scrum experience are desirable for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical degree.
• Willingness to travel ~10% annually to testing locations (CONUS).
• Experience with Agile software development, CI/CD toolchains, and DevOps.
• Proficient in Python (OOP) or C++.
• Experience in Scrum team environments and Agile collaboration.
• Interest in cybersecurity for defense applications.
• Must live in or be willing to relocate to Lawton, OK.
• U.S. Citizen and eligible for Final Top-Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop simulations to emulate threat-representative Cyber and Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA) effects and environments.
• Support a team of software engineers in developing offensive or defensive cyber tools for radar, C2, SAM, and artillery systems.
• Research current and future cybersecurity threats against military systems.
