Job summary

Circle K is seeking a data-driven professional to support category management and merchandise planning at the local level. You will analyze large datasets to extract insights, coordinate with vendors on item setup, pricing, costs, and logistics, and drive local promotional activities.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment—potential travel up to 60% and a valid driver's license are needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, management, business economics, or related field preferred.
• One to three years of work experience preferred.
• Retail experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) required.
• May require up to 60% travel.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Generate, analyze, and draw conclusions on large data to support category management decisions.
• Assist Category and Merchandise Managers with day-to-day vendor contact for item setup, pricing, costs, and logistics.
• Plan, track, and execute vendor/operations sales incentives and contests.
• Support local planogram assortment planning and processes.
• Collaborate on promotional and pricing management and execute local activities.
• Occasionally travel overnight to support operations.
• Maintain professional knowledge through workshops and publications.
• Contribute to team effort by achieving Financial and Key Result Area targets.
