An established nonprofit organization is seeking a passionate Junior Camp Counselor to help create a fun and safe environment for campers. In this role, you will guide and support up to 10 campers, fostering their development through engaging activities aligned with the organization's mission of youth development and social responsibility. POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The junior camp counselor is responsible for managing the day-to-day safety and well-being of the campers in their care. Their primary job will be to guide the camp experience of the (up to) 10 campers while helping them develop mind, body and spirit as outlined in the YMCA mission statement.
This is a split shift position with AM and PM hours available.

EDUCATION AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum 16 years of age, CPR and First Aid Certifications required.
