Job summary

RedGuard is seeking a Drafter I to develop precise two- and three-dimensional models using AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit for blast-resistant and security-related building designs.

You will work closely with PMs, manufacturing, sales, estimating, and engineering to resolve design conflicts, produce shop drawings, and support project execution from drafting through to permit-ready documents.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of drafting experience required.
• Basic understanding of Autodesk software (AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong time management and multi-project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Create various models for assigned projects in AutoCAD, Revit and Inventor.
• Coordinate multiple disciplines related to construction and manufacturing.
• Review project models for clashes and overall workability.
• Generate complete and accurate production, shop or permit-ready drawings.
• Gather field changes and produce as-built drawings per Document Control requirements.
• Provide support by answering questions and guiding project tasks.
• Verify fabrication methods on the floor aligns with approved designs and update as-built changes.
