Job summary

Vintage Air in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Junior Buyer. You will support procurement, maintain supplier relationships, and help ensure the right parts are available to keep production moving. This on-site role offers weekly pay and a path to grow within a close-knit team.

You'll collaborate with engineering, accounting, and senior buyers, read contracts, and develop practical buying strategies to optimize inventory and costs while supporting our legendary performance climate control products.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory management and vendor negotiations.
• Ability to read and understand contract terms and conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in orders, invoices and reports.
• Proficient with MS Office and MRP systems (SAP or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Assisting in purchasing raw materials, components, and services for production
• Communicating with vendors to track orders, confirm delivery timelines, and resolve issues
• Supporting price negotiations and contract reviews alongside senior buyers
• Maintaining accurate records of purchase orders and vendor information
• Monitoring stock levels and helping forecast inventory needs
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams like Engineering, Accounting, and R&D
