Starplast USA, LLC is seeking a Junior Buyer to support planning, procurement, storage, and distribution in our Humble, TX facility. You will collaborate with Operations, Project Management, and Logistics to meet company targets and implement sourcing strategies.

Strong communication, analytics, and knowledge of MRP systems are essential. The role requires a BS/BA, negotiation experience, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• BS or BA Degree in relevant field.
• Understanding of negotiations, supplier evaluation, supplier quality, logistics.
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel (VLOOKUP, PIVOT TABLE).
• Knowledge of market requirements and global negotiating skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement processes to reduce costs and improve supply.
• Negotiate prices and terms to ensure best supply and component availability.
• Identify alternate suppliers and materials to improve procurement.
• Analyze market conditions and advise on changes affecting supply of parts.
