Industrial Rivet & Fastener Co. is a 113-year-old, family-owned global leader in fastening solutions, proudly headquartered in Norwood, NJ. We manufacture and distribute a diverse range of innovative fastening products including rivets, rivet nuts, and installation tooling, serving industries that build and connect the world.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Buyer/ Planner to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will collaborate with senior Buyers/Planners and cross-functional teams to support operational efficiency and meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain system data accuracy, including lead-time, order minimums, supplier information, and current purchase order data
• Prepare and manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Collaborating with the department team to assess procurement needs.
• Analyze purchasing data to optimize inventory decisions.
• Provide back-up support for supply chain functions including Purchasing, Logistics, Production Scheduling, and other duties as assigned

Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, strong communication skills, teamwork, results oriented, ability to calculate figures and amounts, familiarity with the manufacturing industry.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft office and experience with ERP systems

Proven experience of at least 1 year in a similar role is a plus.

Applicants must be located within a reasonable commuting distance to our office in Norwood, NJ , as this role is On-site.
