Job summary

Boyd Thermal by Eaton in Laconia, NH is seeking a JR Buyer/OSP Coordinator to support OSP and manufacturing, manage POs, source new vendors, and collaborate with suppliers, AP, and planning to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong communication, Excel proficiency, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with cross-training to back up the Purchasing Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school/associates degree, some college preferred.
• Previous Buyer experience in a fast-paced manufacturing company preferred.
• All positions require ITAR compliance and U.S. person status.

Responsibilities

• Oversee OSP workflow using WOs, Oracle, and throughput reports to ensure timely PO issuance.
• Manage POs with accurate confirmation dates and correct pricing/quantities.
• Coordinate with suppliers on delivery dates, pricing discrepancies, and revisions from engineering.
• Provide support for non-inventory purchases and follow approval level guidelines.
• Handle inter-company ordering by placing POs to sister facilities and monitor the report for timely actions.
