Boyd Thermal by Eaton in Laconia, NH seeks a JR Buyer/OSP Coordinator to provide purchasing support for OSP requirements and manufacturing needs. You will place orders, interface with suppliers, and collaborate with sales and planning to ensure on-time material flow.

The role requires strong Excel skills, good communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. ITAR considerations and daily coordination with QC/Engineering are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High school/associates degree, some college preferred.
• Must be able to manage multiple data streams and meet same-day/shifts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email).
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing purchasing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workflow through the OSP area using WO’s, Oracle, Thru-put to issue PO’s timely.
• Manage POs with accurate confirmation dates, pricing, quantities.
• Manage suppliers; communicate about confirmations, pricing discrepancies, QC performance; issue report cards.
• Provide purchasing support for non-inventory manufacturing needs; follow approval levels.
• Manage inter-co ordering by placing POs to sister facilities; monitor via 'Suggested PO' report; check twice weekly.
• Coordinate with warehouse, receiving, QC to ensure quick receipt and handle discrepancies.
• Cross-train to back up Purchasing Supervisor.
• Interpret and execute ThruPut and Oracle reports; manage open purchase report.
• Relate delivery/pricing/lead-time issues to Planning/Manufacturing/Engineering; update lead-time tables.
