Job summary

Lozier is seeking a Buyer I to independently execute purchasing activities across multiple company locations, ensuring timely delivery and supplier performance. The role supports sourcing, data gathering, and pricing inputs to optimize procurement outcomes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage documentation, and uphold Lozier policies while navigating a dynamic manufacturing environment. This onsite position offers travel between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or another related field preferred.
• 1+ years of procurement/purchasing/supply chain experience preferred if degreed.
• 5+ years of procurement/purchasing/supply chain experience preferred if non-degreed.
• Intermediate PC skills (Excel, Word, Outlook). ERP/MRP experience required.
• Strong organizational, time management, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchasing of materials, equipment, and services per policies and needs.
• Manage full purchase order lifecycle: create, confirm, monitor, close.
• Coordinate with suppliers on pricing, delivery, and terms.
• Monitor open POs and ensure on-time delivery and data accuracy.
• Maintain procurement records in ERP and related systems.
• Support cross-functional teams to align materials with production.
