Lozier Corporation is seeking a Buyer I to independently execute purchasing activities supporting operations at Lozier's multiple locations including Joplin, MO. The role manages the full PO lifecycle, coordinates with suppliers on pricing and delivery, and supports sourcing with data input and supplier performance tracking.

Formación

• Bachelor degree preferred in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year in procurement/purchasing/supply chain if degreed; minimum 5 years if non-degreed.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems; strong Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities; attention to data accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Execute purchasing of materials, equipment, and services per policy and requirements.
• Manage full purchase order lifecycle from requisition to closure.
• Coordinate with suppliers on pricing, delivery, and order status; ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain procurement records and supplier data in ERP; support cross-functional teams.
• Assist in supplier quotes, market information and routine pricing discussions.
• Support inventory management by monitoring material availability and shortages.
