Job summary

Topaz HR is seeking a meticulous Junior Buyer to support procurement operations for a packaging, automation, and industrial solutions division in Lyndhurst, NJ. You will create and manage purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely sourcing to meet customer demand.

You will work closely with sales and operations, monitor inventory, assist replenishment, and participate in process improvements. 1–3 years of purchasing experience and strong Excel skills are expected.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of purchasing, procurement, inventory, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ERP or purchasing systems is a plus.

A growing packaging, automation, and industrial solutions company is seeking a meticulous and proactive full-time Junior Buyer to support procurement operations and ensure timely sourcing and availability of products. This position entails working closely with suppliers, sales teams, and operations to maintain inventory, manage purchase orders, and support customer demand in the company's packaging automation equipment division.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders
• Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, and order status
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment planning
