Job summary

Frontmatec in Kansas City, MO seeks an organized Purchasing/Procurement Specialist to manage POs, supplier confirmations, and order expeditions. You will collaborate with Customer Service and warehouse teams to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years purchasing experience, strong Excel and ERP/MRP skills, plus a Bachelor’s degree. This is an on-site role located near Kansas City International Airport with strong teamwork and communication expectations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send POs by analyzing MRP based on lead-time and customer demand.
• Confirm receipt of POs to supplier and ensure price/delivery accuracy.
• Follow up on open orders and resolve vendor issues; liaise between suppliers, Frontmatec Customer Service and warehouse personnel.
• Handle quote requests from Customer Service for customer parts orders.
• Expedite aftermarket parts or customer orders as needed.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organized and computer skills. (Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Preferably 3-5 years of related purchasing experience and Bachelor degree.
