Open House Texas/Atlanta Realty & Investments is seeking a hands-on Junior Business Systems Analyst to bridge business operations and technology. You will analyze workflows, propose IT solutions, and directly implement them by writing code in Python or Google Apps Script, building automated tools, and documenting SOPs.

The role is based on-site at our Addison, TX office. You will serve as the primary technical resource across departments, identify tasks to automate, and drive proactive reporting

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years in a technical or operational role (systems, development or tech-focused support).
• Proficiency in Python or GAS for automation tasks.
• Ability to extract and manipulate data (BigQuery a plus).
• Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini) to accelerate scripting and debugging.
• Comfort tackling messy data and workflows without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical resource for multiple departments and balance several requests by business urgency.
• Identify manual, repetitive tasks and design/build automation tools using Python or GAS to improve efficiency.
• Provide proactive status updates to managers and stakeholders; report progress before being asked.
• Create and maintain clear, step-by-step SOPs for each new process or tool developed.
• Perform self-QA on data and scripts to ensure accuracy and establish a single source of truth.

• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) to accelerate scripting and problem-solving.


• Ability to dive into messy data or broken workflows and find solutions without needing constant supervision.


• Resilience to handle various tasks from different stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong interpersonal skills with a habit of providing regular, unsolicited updates on project status.


• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in both coding and documentation.
