Placements24 is seeking a Junior Business Analyst for a dynamic financial services client in South Africa. You will bridge business needs and data solutions, performing analysis, creating dashboards, and supporting BI initiatives in a hybrid on-site/remote environment.

You will work with Excel, SQL, and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI, develop reports, gather requirements, and contribute to project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Requirements

Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced functions, PivotTables), SQL, and ideally experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences. A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies. Understanding of business processes and data management principles. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus. Must be eligible to work in South Africa .
