Job summary

Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) seeks an Associate Project Consultant for its Building Technology division in Denver, CO. You will assist with design, evaluation, and repairs for existing buildings under a licensed engineer, gaining hands-on experience across exterior envelopes, durability, and water intrusion resistance.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering or Civil/Structural Engineering, have 0–2 years of experience (EIT preferred), and can climb ladders or scaffolds

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architectural Engineering or Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 0 to 2 years of experience, EIT preferred.
• Interest in building construction and solving engineering problems.
• Willingness for lifelong learning and adaptability.
• Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolds, and travel to multiple job sites.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design, evaluation, investigation, and repairs for existing buildings.
• Work under the direction of a licensed engineer and travel to multiple job sites.
• Climb ladders and scaffolds and work at great heights.
• Demonstrate strong technical education, professional demeanor, and eagerness to learn.
