Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural Engineering, Architecture (NCARB), or related field.
• 0-2 years of related experience required.
• Certifications may be required depending on testing performed; EIT and IIBEC certifications (RRC, RWC, REWC, RBEC, CBECxP) are relevant.

Responsibilities

• Support building science & infrastructure related testing, inspections, and consulting services.
• Conduct site observations and inspections of roofing and building enclosure systems with guidance from senior staff.
• Assist with drafting or CAD work and interpretation of drawings.
• Assist with specialized building enclosure testing and development of testing protocols.
• Document site observations and prepare field reports describing findings and conditions.
• Assist with analysis of field observations and testing results to support project conclusions.
• Develop familiarity with building codes and standards including IBC and local codes related to building enclosure systems.
