The role supports our accounting team in Fort Lauderdale, performing daily to monthly bookkeeping, vendor management, and detailed reconciliations to ensure client confidentiality and accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years work experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or Finance preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Excellent organization and time management; ability to protect confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Performing bookkeeping functions on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.
• Vendor maintenance - creating and modifying vendors, managing W-9 and NDA forms process with new vendors.
• Recording vendor invoices in the accounts payable module of Intacct or within Bill.com and submit for review.
• Completing vendor, credit and other applications on behalf of clients.
• Processing Form 1099s annually; recording journal entries for cash transfers, payroll, accruals, asset purchases and capital improvements, as well as client asset accounting.
• Reconciliations of bank, brokerage, and credit card statements; journal feeds into accounting systems.
• Meticulous maintenance of client files/records in shared network folders.
• Responding promptly to client requests; ad hoc analysis and reporting.
