Jobaaj Com is hiring a Data Analyst for a fully remote position. You will collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to uncover actionable insights that drive smarter business decisions.

The role welcomes freshers and experienced analysts to work on diverse, high-impact projects in a remote setup. Responsibilities include writing SQL queries, building dashboards in Power BI/Tableau/Looker, and presenting clear visuals to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• Freshers: basic SQL, Excel, and data visualization; internships or academic projects are a plus
• Experienced (0 to 2 years): hands-on data analysis, reporting, and dashboard building
• Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing data
• Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
• Experience or familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker)
• Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
• Good understanding of statistics and data interpretation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills, able to explain insights to non-technical teams
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable with video meetings and online collaboration tools
• Stable internet connection and own laptop

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Create charts and visualizations to present findings clearly to stakeholders
• Track KPIs and share regular performance reports
• Support business teams by answering data-related questions and ad-hoc requests
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reports
• Collaborate with product, marketing, finance, and operations teams via online tools
• Document data processes, definitions, and reporting standards
• Mentor junior analysts and independently own end-to-end reporting projects
